Enhancing Fiscal Transparency in Rio Grande do Sul
The Secretariat of Finance of Rio Grande do Sul acknowledged the need to upgrade their existing fiscal transparency platform, which was not meeting the demand for clear and accessible financial information.
Our team stepped in to create a more intuitive and user-friendly tool that significantly improves how financial settlements are reported and understood. Now, both citizens and officials have a more transparent view of government financial actions, reinforcing public trust.
This initiative marks a pivotal advancement in transparency for the public sector of Brazil.
Cluster was approached with the challenge of implementing the new National Gender Violence Map, from ETL to the final visual layer (mashup/webapp).
This strategic project involved various public and private entities, as the portal became the main reference for data on the subject in Brazil. The project spanned 7 months, and we worked with a multidisciplinary team including Information Designers, Front-End Developers, Data Engineers and Analysts, and Project Management.
The final panel was installed in a public Qlik Sense Server of the Brazilian Senate, where the documentation, source code, and knowledge transfer were conducted for the Data Senate team.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Rio Grande do Sul identified a critical need for technological advancement in their current Mapa Social tool and reached out to us for a solution.
Mapa Social 2.0 provides an interactive representation of diverse social indicators such as population demographics, health statistics, and economic conditions. By facilitating access and understanding of these metrics, the Mapa Social becomes an essential instrument for informed decision-making and policy formulation.
The introduction of Mapa Social 2.0 stands as a testament to how technology can lead to more equitable and sustainable social development.
